Day trip to Porvoo

En ole ollut Porvoossa vuosiin, mutta nyt lomaylityövapaaviikolla oli kauniita päiviä pikku Porvoon retkeen.

I haven't been to nearby town of Porvoo in years, but now when I have my days off to cover overtime work and weather has been pretty, it was time to drive there for a little field trip. 

Kävimme maukkaalla lounaalla joen rannassa; minulle raparperi-ankkasalaattia ja Siipalle lohta ja uusia perunoita.

We had lunch by the river; I had duck-rhubarb salad and Husband ate salmon with new potatoes.

Kävimme myös tuomiokirkossa...

We visited Porvoo cathedral...

...siitä jatkoimme kahville...

...then continued to...

...kahvila Helmeen, jonka sisäpihalla oli mukava istua varjossakin, niin lämmin päivä oli.

Hauska vapaapäivä, tällaisia päiväretkiä täytyy tehdä lisää sitten kun se oikea loma alkaa kesäkuun lopussa.

It was a fun day, we have to take more of these day trips when my real vacation starts end of June.
